MCM (Mobile Content Management)

Mobile Content Management feature allows the admin to remotely push files and folders to the registered devices through admin dashboard.

Note: You must have File Dock installed on your registered device(s) to see the uploaded file. To install File Dock on your device go to My Apps and follow the instructions to PUBLISH an App on the device.

Add a File

  1. Click on Content Management on the left hand side of the dashboard.

  2. To add file click on ADD NEW and select File upload.

  4. You will see a new window as shown in the image below, Click on UPLOAD FILE and select the file you want to upload from your machine.

  6. Once the file gets uploaded, you will see your file on the dashboard.

  7. Click on the file and you will see a window at the bottom of your dashboard, as shown in the image below.

  8. On the new window, Click on PUBLISH.

  10. On the new window, as shown below, you can choose to send the file to Device Groups or to individual Devices and then click on PUBLISH.

To see the file on the Device:

  1. On the MobiLock Pro screen, click on File Dock App.

  3. Once you click on the App, You will see your file on the Device.

Delete a File

  1. Click on the uploaded file on the dashboard and on the window that appears on the bottom of the screen, click on delete icon.

    You have successfully deleted the File!

Move File to a Folder

  1. To move file to folder, Click on the uploaded file and on the window that appears at the bottom of the dashboard, click on Move to Folder icon.

  2. A new window appears as shown below, on the new window select the Folder you want to move the file to and then click MOVE.

    You have successfully moved the file to folder!

Copy File to Folder

  1. To copy file to folder, select the uploaded file and then, on the window that appears at the bottom of the dashboard, Click on Copy to folder icon.

  2. A new window appears as shown below, select the folder you want to copy the file to and then click COPY.

    You have successfully copied the file to folder!

ADD a Folder

To add a folder:

  1. Follow step 1 as above.

  2. Click on ADD NEW and select Folder

  4. You will see a new window, Type the folder name and click SAVE.

  6. Your folder appears on the Content Management screen.

  7. To Publish the folder to your registered device(s), Click on the folder and a window appears at the bottom of your dashboard, Click on PUBLISH.

  9. Select the Device(s) or Device groups you want to publish your folder to and then click PUBLISH.

To see the Folder on the Device:

  1. On the <a target="_blank" href="https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.promobitech.mobilock.pro">MobiLock Pro</a> screen, click on File Dock App.

Delete a Folder

  1. Click on the Folder on the dashboard and on the window that appears at the bottom of the dashboard, click on Delete icon.

    You have successfully deleted the Folder!
