On the MobiLock Pro dashboard, in the Devices section, the Admin will see all the registered devices.

Active Device

The device status is Active when MobiLock Pro app is running and the device is connected to internet.

Inactive Device

The device status is Inactive when MobiLock Pro app is running on the device and the device is not communicating with the MobiLock Pro server.

What can be the reason, what to do in this case?

By default, MobiLock Pro changes the status of the device from Active to Inactive, if the device is in any of the following scenarios for a period of 6 hours.

Scenario 1:
The device is switched off for a period longer than the preset duration by the admin. When the device is switched off it can no longer communicate with the server and hence the device status becomes inactive.

Scenario 2:
The device is in Idle mode for a period longer than the preset duration by the admin. In the idle mode, the device no longer communicates with the server and hence it enters the Inactive mode.

Scenario 3:
The user is running the device in Safe Mode. In safe mode, all the 3rd party apps are disabled and hence, MobiLock Pro app will not function and the device will enter the Inactive mode.

Scenario 4:
MobiLock Pro app is uninstalled from the device.

Scenario 5:
There is no internet connectivity. In this case, the device can no longer communicate with the server and hence status changes to inactive.

How to change the EXIT passcode?

  • Steps for devices that are not part of any Device Profile.

    1. On the dashboard, go to the Devices tab.

    2. Choose a device and click on View Details.

    4. Click on the Settings icon, next to the Device name as shown in the Image below.

    5. Select the Change Exit Passcode option from the list.

    7. A new window appears as shown in the image below, Type the New Passcode which you want to set and Click on UPDATE.

Some points to remember -

  1. Your Password is one which you use to log in to your account and access the MobiLock Pro dashboard and while registering your device on MobiLock Pro App.

  2. Your Passcode is required to exit the MobiLock Pro app from the device.

  3. If the device is a part of a Device Profile, then the Admin needs to change the Passcode from the Device Profile section.
